Tales From A Foodie Series: The Alley’s Soft Opening At SM Sta Mesa

Entrance of The Alley Milk Tea Store

What’s up, fellow foodies? A new milk tea store has recently opened its branch at SM Sta Mesa to serve milk tea lovers out there. Last December 6 of 2019, The Alley operated its branch in SM Sta Mesa mall located at the 3rd floor.

But before that, here’s a little background of the milk tea store:

This milk tea store firmly believes that one drinks its sentiment from tea, devouring a sense of happiness — a kind of indescribable sentiment that one looks forward to. The Alley is committed to making their own sugar cane syrup through picking the all-natural, high-quality sugar canes and create the most original flavor.

The deerioca pearls of every drink were made from scratch through kneading of doughs, hence creating better texture and aroma for the tapioca pearls.

The Ambiance Of The Alley

Ambience of The Alley

The Alley in SM Sta Mesa has quite a spacious ambience where guests can enjoy chatting together with their friends, colleagues or even loved ones while sipping on their favorite The Alley beverage.  The Alley also has some outlets for guests to plug on or charge their laptops or mobile devices when they work or browse through social media sites while enjoying their drink.

Their Drinks/Beverages

The Alley offers a variety of beverages everyone can enjoy – they have Snow White Brown Sugar Latte, Snow White Deerioca Tea Latte, Assam Black Tea, Morning Dawn, Northern Lights, Brown Sugar Deerioca and Premium Milk Tea. Since it is their soft opening, The Alley offers a free upsize on your drink.

Brown Sugar Deerioca Fresh Milk

My favorite drink from The Alley is the Brown Sugar Deerioca (Fresh Milk). I have ordered this one too months ago when I was in Singapore with my family for a vacation. In my honest opinion, the brown sugar deerioca tasted just right — it’s not too sweet.

* I asked or requested for the barista there to lessen the ice since I’m still suffering from colds. I just wanted to try their brown sugar deerioca fresh milk again since I’ve missed ordering them from the last time I had them during my stay in Singapore.

So that’s all for my milk tea blog. Stay tuned for my next #TalesFromAFoodieSeries blog post.
